COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Raiders D leaves Ironmen in heap

ELY — Greg Wright recovered two fumbles and the Central Lakes College Raiders held the Vermilion Ironmen to -22 yards rushing in Saturday’s 34-0 non-division victory.

Vermilion managed just 63 total yards of offense on 74 plays from scrimmage. Jared Hoemberg intercepted a pass and Dilan Gastecki recovered another fumble for the 7-1 and 19th-ranked Raiders.

Avery Duncan caught two touchdown passes and Ryan Tri added another touchdown reception as the Raiders racked up 324 yards of offense in a balanced attack. CLC rushed for 161 yards and threw for 163.
