FARGO, N.D. — The Staples-Motley Cardinals finished the regular season 0-8 after falling to the Breckenridge Cowboys 38-14 Thursday in the Classic Heart O’Lakes Conference game at the Fargodome.


Grant Longbella put the Cardinals on the board with a two yard run to close out the first half with the Cowboys leading 12-7.

After Breckenridge scored the first three touchdowns of the second half, Blake Petrich hit Zach Borders on a 15-yard touchdown pass for S-M’s final score.
