FOOTBALL: Huskies tumble at the dome

FARGO, N.D. — Nick Ruhl returned a punt 15 yards for a touchdown for the Pillager Huskies lone touchdown in a 42-8 loss to the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders Thursday at the Fargodome.

The Raiders punt hit one of its own players and Ruhl recovered it and returned it the 15 yards needed for the score. Cody Beach ran in the two-point conversion and Devrin House had one interception for Pillager, who saw it’s six-game winning streak snapped.

Despite the loss, the Huskies still secured the No. 3 seed in the Section 6-1A playoffs by 0.4 points over Lake Park-Audubon. Pillager will host Pine River-Backus 7 p.m. Tuesday.
