6-2A VOLLEYBALL: Flyers advance to subsection championship match


SAUK RAPIDS — Alayna Kabanuk drilled 31 kills to help the second-seeded Little Falls Flyers outlast No. 3 Melrose 3-2 in Tuesday’s North Subsection 6-2A semifinals.


It was the Flyers’ 12th straight win after starting the season 9-7.

Jennifer Hortness added 16 kills and 16 digs for the Flyers, who will play top-seeded Sauk Centre for the title Thursday night at Sauk Rapids High School.
