SECTION 6-2 VOLLEYBALL: Sauk stops Flyers streak


SAUK RAPIDS — The second-seeded Little Falls Flyers had their winning streak end at 12 games, but that along with their season ended in Thursday’s North Subsection 6-2A final.


The top-seeded Sauk Centre Mainstreeters built 2-0 lead and then withstood the Flyers rally for a 3-2 victory.

Alayna Kabanuk finished with 30 kills and 13 digs. Jessica Hanowski added 23 set assists, 18 digs and three kills and Jennifer Hortness added 25 digs and 12 kills for the Flyers, who concluded the season with a 21-8 record.
