Section 6-2A football

team announced

Five Pierz Pioneers and two Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines landed on the All-Section 6-2A football team which was selected by section coaches.

Pierz players making the team were Preston Weber (QB-DB), Josh Lanners (RB-LB), Nathan Tomala (RB-DE), Tyler Millner (RB-DB) and Logan Meyer (TE-DT).

W-DC’s own Logan Meyer (RB) also made the team along with teammate Jacob Ludovissie (LB).

Preston Weber of Pierz was incorrectly identified as Colby Eden in Sunday’s photo of the Pioneers’ Class 2A state quarterfinal football game against Moose Lake-Willow River at St. Cloud State.

The Dispatch regrets the error.

After graduating high school in 2004, I attended Central Lakes College in Staples, MN for 2 years where I got a diploma in Communication Art and Design. I then transfered up to Bemidji State University in, you guessed it, Bemidji, MN. In the spring of 2009, I graduated from BSU. Then in the fall of 2009 I got a job at Echo Publishing, a sister company to the Brainerd Dispatch.
