BOYS HOCKEY: Flyers fall in opener


LITTLE FALLS — Ben Newman scored twice and Austin Bjorge had a goal and an assist for the Little Falls Flyers during Friday’s season-opening 5-4 loss to Hibbing/Chisholm.

Michael Stumpf stopped 33 shots on net for the Flyers, who also received a goal from Mike Anez.

Luke Majerie and Matt Stumpf added assists for Little Falls.
