Wolhart’s first goal came on an assist from Katie Benson.

“Zoe was really dialed in to play tonight,” said Flying Warriors head coach Stephanie Sustercich. “She was focused and also utilized her line mates. Katie Benson set her up nicely on the first goal. Zoe worked really hard tonight and it was probably her best game.”

Wolhart got an unassisted goal at 10:26 and then scored again at the 3:46 mark on an assist from Kristina Anderson.

Jodi Bertrand kicked away 26 of the 28 shots for Brainerd/Little Falls.

“The girls moved the puck very well and were trying to utilize everyone,” Sustercich said. “Short shifts were the key and Jodi Bertrand did a great job.”
