Area Boys Hockey: Chambers, Couture combine for seven goals in win

WADENA — Connor Chambers scored four goals and Kegan Couture three for the Northern Lakes Lightning as they made it four wins in five games by defeating the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines 9-5 in a Mid-State Conference game Tuesday.

Mitchell Swanson was the leading scorer for the Wolverines with two goals.

Goalie Joe Herda had 37 saves for Northern Lakes, which is 4-5 overall.

W-DC falls to 0-7 overall.
