BASEBALL: Twins Caravan to make stops in lakes area

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins 52nd annual Winter Caravan will make three stops in the Brainerd lakes area in January.

Jan. 24: Aitkin, players Ben Revere and Rene Tosoni, former Twin Tony Oliva, and Twins broadcaster Dick Bremer.

Jan. 25: Brainerd, Revere, Tosoni, Oliva, Bremer.

Jan. 26: Little Falls, Tosoni, Oliva, players Denard Span and Drew Butera and Twins broadcaster and Hall of Famer pitcher Bert Blyleven.

The caravan will visiting schools, hospitals, corporations and service clubs during the day with a traditional hot stove program each night.

Caravan tours will be led by members of the Treasure Island Baseball Network and Fox Sports North broadcast teams, including Blyleven, Dan Gladden, Cory Provus and Bremer.
