Area Wrestling: Road Crew wins twice

DETROIT LAKES — Darian Rubner recorded his 75th career win as the Pequot Lakes/Pine River-Backus Road Crew won two meets in a Mid-State Conference triangular Tuesday.

Teammate Dallin Sonenstahl, who went 1-1, recorded his first varsity win for the Road Crew.

Mitch Steffens won two matches by major decision, bringing his record of 14-2, as Wadena-Deer Creek was defeated twice. Tony Reurink went 2-0 with two pins for the Wolverines.
