Area Girls Basketball: Pequot gets White hot at end to beat Perham

PERHAM — Katie White made two huge shots down the stretch as Pequot Lakes snapped a two-game losing streak with a 62-60 non-conference win over Perham Thursday.

White, who finished with 12 points, hit a three-pointer to tie the game at 60 with 20 seconds remaining and finished off the Yellowjackets with a field goal at the buzzer.

Kayla Miller totaled 19 points and Megan Hogen tallied 14 to lead Pequot Lakes. Mattie Lueck grabbed nine rebounds and swiped seven steals.
