Warrior Wrestling: Biever, Boran win titles

CAMBRIDGE — Casey Biever and Luke Boran both picked up first-place finishes to help the Brainerd Warriors to third at Saturday’s Cambridge-Isanti tournament.

Biever improved his season record to 11-5 by winning the 195-pound weight class. Boran, wrestling in his first tournament of the season, went 3-0 to win at 145.

“Casey wrestled a good smart tournament,” said Brainerd co-head coach Mike Boran. “He was seeded second and really wrestled well.
