Biever improved his season record to 11-5 by winning the 195-pound weight class. Boran, wrestling in his first tournament of the season, went 3-0 to win at 145.

“Casey wrestled a good smart tournament,” said Brainerd co-head coach Mike Boran. “He was seeded second and really wrestled well.

“It was nice to have Luke back in the lineup. We had some guys move around weight wise after the Christmas break and that opened up a sport for him. He had a good tournament for it being his first time out there.”

Dillon Kifer finished first at 132 pounds by going 2-0 to lead the Little Falls Flyers to fourth.
