Warrior Wrestling: Warriors win eighth straight

BEMIDJI — Andy Schlosser and Levi Rubin both posted pins for the Brainerd Warriors during Tuesday’s 48-15 victory over the Bemidji Lumberjacks in a dual of Section 8-3A teams.

Brainerd enjoyed three forfeits and an injury default from Luke Boran to pick up its eighth straight dual meet victory and improve to 11-3 overall.

“We wrestled well,” said Brainerd head coach Mike Boran. “It’s easier knowing your going to get some forfeits, but they also had some good guys through the middle of the lineup and we picked up some wins there. That’s good to get the team rolling and because of individual section implications. It was a good section win.”
