Warrior Gymnastics: Warriors seventh over weekend

COTTAGE GROVE — The Brainerd Warriors placed seventh out of 10 teams in Saturday’s Park Invitational.

Rachel Hoffman placed sixth on the uneven parallel bars with a score of 9.05 and Madison Grausam’s 9.25 on the vault was good for eighth place.

Eden Prairie’s MacKenzie Dent won the all-around competition with 38.5.

Additional individual results were not available.

There were approximately 80 competitors for each event according to Warrior head coach Dave Maras.

“The kids competed well,” said Maras. “It was a good meet for us and we’re certainly not disappointed. One day we’re going to put this all together.”
