PINE RIVER — Megan Hogen’s 24 points pushed the Pequot Lakes Patriots to a 60-51 non-conference victory over the Pine River-Backus Tigers Monday.

Mattie Lueck added 16 and Kayla Miller scored 13 for the 8-8 Patriots.

Tatum Sheley drained five 3-pointers and finished with 35 points to pace the 10-4 Tigers. Autumn Ackerman grabbed nine rebounds to go with four points for PR-B.

FRAZEE — Chelsey Bonsante scored 16 points and Missy Foote added 12 to help the Crosby-Ironton Rangers overcome a 22-17 halftime deficit and defeat the Frazee Hornets 38-36 Monday.

Sienna Miller dished out five assists for the Rangers, who have now won three straight and improved to 8-7.

PELICAN RAPIDS — Class 2A’s second-ranked Staples-Motley Cardinals saw their eight-game win streak snapped by Pelican Rapids, which won Monday’s non-conference game 76-64.

Kelly Pearson led the 13-3 Cardinals with 15 points followed by Jaelin Beachy’s 13 and KyAnn Nyhus’ 12.
