Area Boys Hockey: Lightning end in tie


CROSBY — Kegan Couture’s goal at 3:52 was matched by a Prairie Centre goal 13 minutes later and that’s how Tuesday’s non-conference contest between the Northern Lakes Lightning and North Stars ended.


Lightning’s goalie Joey Berquist made 49 saves to preserve the 1-1 tie that pushed Northern Lakes’ record to 9-10-2.
