Area Boys Basketball: Tigers, Verndale suffer close loses

PINE RIVER — Nathan Holm tallied 29 points and 11 rebounds, but the Pine River-Backus Tigers were defeated 68-65 by the Menahga Braves in a non-conference game Thursday.

Zach Struss scored 13 points for the Togers, followed by Henry Kreklau, who added 10 points.
