ST. CLOUD — Little Falls’ girls team captured the Granite Ridge Conference title and the Flyers won three individual championships Thursday.


Maria Hauer won the sprint race, Mattia Hendrickson paced the 6-kilometer distance event and Hendrickson, Chelsea Rutz, Kaitlin Geisenhof and Hauer combined to win the relay.

All-conference Flyers were Hauer, Rutz, Hendrickson, Kaitlin Geisenhof, Nathan Alman, Preston Zimny and the girls relay.

The Flyer boys team finished second.

Boys team scores: 1-Mora 42, 2-Little Falls 35, 3-Buffalo 21, 4-St. Cloud Cathedral/Sartell 10

Sprints winner: Kyle Sovada (StCS)

Little Falls sprints: 5-Mathew Massmann, 7-John Gottwalt, 10-Brian McNamara

6-kilometer distance winner: Max Anderson (Mora)

Little Falls 6km distance: 2-Nathan Alman, 3-Preston Zimny, 7-Gunnar Kleinschmidt

Relay: 1-Mora, 2-Little Falls

Girls team scores: 1-Little Falls 46, 2-Mora 35, 3-Cathedral/Sartell 21, 4-Buffalo 10

Sprints winner: Maria Hauer (LF)

Little Falls sprints: 3-Chelsea Rutz, 5-Josie Lange, 10-Kendal Hendrickson

6km distance winner: Mattia Hendrickson (LF)

Little Falls 6km distance: 3-Kaitlin Geisenhof, 6-Claire Gammon-Deering, 7-Chloe Houle, 9-Ingrid Floersheim

Relay: 1-Little Falls (Mattia Hendrickson, Rutz, Geisenhof, Hauer)

Next: Little Falls in Section 8 meet at Detroit Lakes 10 a.m. Tuesday.
