Adapted Floor Hockey: Myers nets three in Warriors win over Wayzata/Minnetonka

MINNETONKA — Brennen Myers scored three goals in a row for the Brainerd Warriors as they defeated Wayzata/Minnetonka 6-5 in a North Division game Monday.

“We’ve had a tendency to hang back in the offensive zone waiting for the long shot to go in,” said coach Todd Person. “Tonight our players did a good job of moving the puck around and going after the rebound as it was coming off the goalie.”

Jake Kretzmann and Brock Saatzer each scored a goal for the Warriors, who out-shot their opponent 51-20.

With the win Brainerd improved its record to 3-3 overall.
