Area Boys Basketball: Huskies beat Bombers in OT

BARNUM — Cole Hunstad put up 22 points and pulled down 17 rebounds for the Pillager Huskies as they pulled off an overtime victory over the Barnum Bombers 73-71 in a non-conference game Monday.

EJ Ziegler scored 18 and rebounded 11 while Devin Strack and Conner Uselman scored 10 each for the Huskies.

The win was Pillager’s fourth in a row and they are now 15-5 overall.

SEBEKA — Evan VanErp led all scorers with 18 and the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines defeated the Sebeka Trojans 66-57 in a non-conference game Monday.

Ryab Redfield added 15, Andrew VanErp 12, and Ben Birch 10 for the Wolverines.

W-DC is now 8-13 overall.
