Area Girls Basketball: Cardinals cruise against Pillager

PILLAGER — Kelly Pearson finished with 16 points and Mikayla Wing added 13 as the Staples-Motley Cardinals won for the sixth straight time with Tuesday’s 85-20 victory against the Pillager Huskies.

Lacy Hiltner led Pillager in scoring with eight points as the Huskies finish the regular season 0-24.

Twelve different S-M players scored, including KyAnn Nyhus, who added 11 points for the 20-4 Cardinals.

The Gobblers swept the season series from the Dragons, defeating them 62-45 on January 13th.
