The Brainerd Elks 8-U girls hockey team shut out all three opponents in their home jamboree, defeating Alexandria 4-0, Grand Rapids 4-0 and Superior, Wis., 9-0. Front row: Trinity Shields. The top-seeded Bremer Bank 12-U A girls hockey team won the District 15 championship with victories over Detroit Lakes and Moorhead. Next up is the region tournament March 2-5 at Chisholm. The Brainerd Nor-Son Pee Wee B1 team won the District 15 championship and will advance to the region tournament March 3-5. I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
