AREA BOYS BASKETBALL: Lake Region finishes fourth at state

PLYMOUTH — Patrick Trout led the scoring with 15 points and teammate Daniel Newton added 11 for the Lake Region Christian Hornets as they lost 53-50 to Heritage in a Minnesota Association of Christian Schools third-place game in state tournament Saturday.

Josh Gazelka added 13 points for the Hornets.

Trout was named to the all-tournament team. Newton was named first-team all-conference.
