PLYMOUTH — Bethany Cressman, who was named to the all-tournament team, scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Lake Region Christian Hornets in a 40-20 victory against Owatonna in the Minnesota Association of Christian Schools state championship game Saturday.

The Hornets’ Emily Beltran, who was selected the tournament’s most valuable player, added eight points, five assists and six rebounds for the Hornets. Teammate Marlee Moore notched two assists and 15 rebounds.

CROSBY — Chelsey Bonsante scored 17 points for the Crosby-Ironton Rangers as they beat the Hill City Hornets 65-15 in the final game of the regular season Saturday.

Sienna Miller added 10 points for the 18-8 Rangers, who are the No. 1 seed in the Northeast Subsection 8-2A tournament.
