NEVIS — Dallas Ehrmantraut tallied 18 points and Aaron Denny scored 10 for the Verndale Pirates in a 60-54 non-conference loss to the Nevis Tigers Tuesday.

The Tigers shot 45 percent from the field, including 50 percent from 3-point to drop the Pirates to 7-17 heading into the Section 5-1A playoffs.
