The Country Kitchen 10-U A girls hockey team won the championship in the Brainerd Invitational Feb. 25-26. Brainerd defeated Apple Valley 3-1 and East Grand Forks 4-2 in pool play to advance to the championship game where it defeated Fergus Falls 10-3. Third place went to Minnetonka. The Brainerd Pee Wee White team finished third in the district tournament and will advance to the region tournament. I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
