BOWLING: McGregor wins another traveling league title

McGregor won the Traveling Classic League for the 12th time in 17 years as the league ended its season Sunday at Isle Lanes.

Aitkin has won four times and Brainerd one in a league that bowls six games in each of the eight cities during the season. 

High team series honors went to McGregor with 3,076, and Isle with 2,993 and 2,957.

High team game was by Wadena with 1,088, McGregor 1,064 and Little Falls with 1,055.

High individual series was by Bill Anderson of Isle with 752 and 678, Don Reich of McGregor had a 709 and Rich Strom of Wadena 672.

High individual game was by Bill Anderson of Isle with a 279, Rob Kugel of Crosby 270, and Tom Kliber of Little Falls 269.

Next season will begin in September at Jack’s House in Brainerd.
