COLLEGE SOFTBALL: Marcy's doubles help Raiders split

Nicole Marcy hit two doubles and drove in three runs for Central Lakes College in a 10-2 victory over Hibbing in the second game of a Northern Division doubleheader Monday at the Findorff Athletic Complex.

Kaylie Hanson, Carlie Sweet, Becca Anderson and Hayley Hornick each collected two hits in the second game, with Sweet adding a triple and double.

Kaylie Hanson contributed three hits in the first game along with an RBI.

Sam Harting started both games for the Raiders, allowing a total of 16 hits and striking out six. She allowed no earned runs in the second game.

Whitney Finco hit three doubles in the first game for the Cardinals. Jenna Massingill started both games for Hibbing, allowing a total of 19 hits and 11 runs in 10.2 innings while striking out seven and walking five.
