Area Softball: Nelson, Cekalla pitch Flyers past Falcons


LITTLE FALLS — Winning pitcher Chloe Nelson and reliever Alea Cekalla allowed Foley just one hit as the Little Falls Flyers defeated the Falcons 11-1 in six innings for their first win of the season in Tuesday’s Granite Ridge conference game.

Jamie Jenks led the Flyers’ offensive attack, going 2-3 with a double, triple, four RBIs and two runs scored. The Flyers tallied their 11 runs on eight hits and 15 walks.
