COLLEGE BASEBALL: St. John's JV sweeps Raiders

COLLEGEVILLE — Joe Gaida was 1-3 with an RBI for the Central Lakes College Raiders as they were defeated 3-1 by the St. John’s University junior varsity in the opening game of a doubleheader Wednesday.

Teammates Tyler Lenz and Jaron Hanson each collected RBIs for the Raiders in the second game, a 5-4 loss.

“We had a number of chances to score and we didn’t get the job done,” Raiders coach Pat Held said.
