Public's help sought to locate missing man

Area Baseball: Flyers sweep Perham

PERHAM — Collin Eckman went 5-for-5 with two doubles in Game Two and Luke Thoma went the distance in Game One to help Little Falls sweep Perham Saturday 15-3, 15-7.

Thoma struck out six for his victory.

Spencer Fenske pitched three innings in relief for Little Falls in the second game, allowing only three hits, one earned run and striking out five and walking two.

Ian Stewart went 3-5 with a double and home run. Joey Hanowski and Spencer Fenske both drove in four runs in game one and six Flyers players had extra base hits in the second game.

Staples-Motley finishes fourth

PARK RAPIDS — Jordan Jenkins hit a home run and contributed two RBIs between two tournament losses for the Staples-Motley Cardinals Saturday at the Park Rapids Tournament.

The Cardinals lost to Park Rapids 9-8 in the third-place game and fell to Frazee 6-3 in the semifinals.

In the semifinal game, Jalen pitched seven innings, striking out six and only giving up two earned runs, while allowing six hits and three walks.

Austin Redemske went 2-3 with two runs and a double for the Cardinals in the third place game against Park Rapids, but S-M fell short when Park Rapids scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh.

Busker and Cody Drone each notched two hits in the third place game for the Cardinals.
