College Baseball: Yellowjackets sting Raiders twice

ROCHESTER — Josh Edwards notched the only two hits for the Central Lakes Raiders in a 5-1 Game One loss, part of a doubleheader against the Rochester Yellowjackets Saturday.

The second game was an extra inning 5-4 loss for the Raiders.

The two teams were tied 2-2 at the end of the seventh inning. Derek Pihlaja and Trey Thomspn both notched RBI singles in the eighth to go-ahead of Rochester before the Yellowjacket’s Ryan Lester sealed the game with his RBI single in the tenth.

CLC’s lone run in the first game came off a sacrifice fly from Tyler Lance.
