Area Softball: C-I notches win over Gobblers


AITKIN — Morgan Schoonover went 3-4 and Anna Browning was 2-3 with a double, but the Aitkin Gobblers stranded three runners in the bottom of the seventh inning to fall to the Crosby-Ironton Rangers 9-8 Thursday.

Jenae Herron, Mikaela Michaletz and Mikalela Kliewer each added two hits for the 1-3 Gobblers.

Kassandra Wiseley pitched the win for the Rangers.
