BOYS TENNIS: Warrior boys lose first meet of season

FERGUS FALLS — The Brainerd Warriors are no longer unbeaten as they fell 4-3 to a tough Fergus Falls team in Central Lakes conference action on Tuesday.

Lenka Zelinska won in singles play, and the doubles teams of Gunnar Askegaard-Reno Fussy, and Trent Anderson-Jared Stearns were winners.

“We played well,” said Warriors coach Bruce Thompson. “They are a really good team, the best we have played all year.”

Junior varsity singles winner for Brainerd was Ryan Bell.
