Boys Track: Goodew, Warrior relays off to good starts

Email

The baton starts with Jacob Goodew.

Who it ends with didn’t seem to matter Tuesday as the Brainerd Warriors 4x100- and 4x200-meter relays both won to help Brainerd to second place in the Warrior triangular at Adamson Field in Brainerd.

Goodew led off both relays. In the 4x200, he passed the baton to Logan Davis, who advanced it to Nick Oldham, who slapped it in the hand of Jackson Walters, who crossed the finish line in a first-place time of 1:31.44.
