HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Warriors rattle off fifth, sixth straight wins


The Brainerd Warriors recorded their fifth and sixth straight wins Tuesday as they swept the Willmar Cardinals 4-3 and 6-1 in a Central Lakes Conference doubleheader at Adamson Field.

In Game One, Blake Peterson pitched six innings, and gave up three runs, two earned, and seven hits to get the win. He struck out seven and walked two.

Drew Sannes finished on the mound. He faced three hitters, striking out one, and threw only five pitches.
