Email

ST. PAUL – Brainerd High School graduate Tom Lyscio was named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference player of the week in men’s track and field Tuesday.

At the St. Norbert Invitational last Saturday, Lyscio climbed up to 12th place on the NCAA Division III performance list in the hammer throw with a program-record toss of 184-10. That is more than two meters farther than his previous school record.

Earlier last week, at the Twin Ports Open, Lyscio won the hammer event.
