Area Boys Golf: Forsberg fires low round to win at Vintage



STAPLES — Nick Forsberg’s even par 72 earned him medalist honors and helped the Staples-Motley Cardinals defend their home course during Saturday’s Cardinal Invite.


Michael Strain and Andrew Israelson both shot 76s and Trent Hagenson shot 79 for the Cardinals’ 303.

James Cragun fired an 86 to lead the Crosby-Ironton Rangers to eighth.
