Sprint medley team sets BHS, meet records

WAYZATA — Brainerd’s 800 sprint medley relay broke a 30-year-old school record and set a meet record in racing to first place Saturday at the Wayzata Relays.

The 800 team of Shelby Zimmerman, Courtney Ryan, Hannah Lundstrom and Allison Kosobud turned in a time of 1:52.73.

The 1600 sprint medley relay of Ryan, Lundstrom, Jenna Degen and Kosobud also won its event at 4:22.59 as Brainerd finished fourth.
