AREA BOYS TENNIS: W-DC competes in Mid-State meet

PARK RAPIDS — Guthrie Coughlin, at No. 1 singles, and Shane Seuss-Josh Solway, at No. 1 doubles, both went 2-0 for first-place finishes in the Mid-State Conference meet Thursday.

Daniel Gartner was 2-1 at No. 3 singles and Colton Paskewitz 1-1 at No. 4 for the Cardinals.

Also going 1-1 were the S-M doubles teams of Grant Longbella-Dale Vogt and Robin Melse-Bernardo Freitas.

For Wadena-Deer Creek, Mike Paavola and Drew Larson each split their singles matches and the doubles team of Shane Perry-Matt Green went 1-1.
