Area Girls Golf: Pioneers finish fourth

KIMBALL — Katie Kowalzek carded a 50 to pace the Pierz Pioneers to a fourth-place finish in Friday’s Central Minnesota Conference meet.

Jessica Hawks was a stroke behind at 51 while Beth Woitalla finished with a 53 and Anna Poster came in at 54.

Team scores: 1-Maple Lake 187, 2-Osakis 194, 3-Kimball/Eden Valley-Watkins 202, 4-Pierz 208. 5-Howard Lake 222, 6-Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 229, 7-Rockford 230
