Area Girls Golf: S-M's Israelson defends home course

STAPLES — Emily Isrealson’s 75 earned her medalist honors, her third of the week, and led the Staples-Motley Cardinals to fourth place during Saturday’s Staples-Motley Invite at The Vintage in Staples.

Pequot Lakes finished second behind Detroit Lakes. The Lakers shot 318 followed by Pequot’s 336. The Patriots were led by Savannah Stone and Sam Olmscheild, who both shot 80. Erika Schwalbe shot 87 and Maggie Heggerston 89.

S-M’s Tera Weyer carded an 85.
