Racing: Clampitt repeats

Jason Clampitt laid down a 152.90 mph run on his 2010 Suzuki motorcycle Saturday to earn the No. 1 qualifier position and then followed it with three strong runs on Sunday to repeat as Sportsman Motorcycle champion during Thunder at the Lakes at Brainerd International Raceway.

A former Lucas Oil National Champion, Massel ran down Nahan with a run of 7.119 seconds and 177.86 mph. It was Massel’s second straight win in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.
