LEGION BASEBALL: Staples-Motley splits with B-H/V

Staples-Motley splits

STAPLES — Austin Redemske, Blake Petrich and Devon White each had three hits as Staples-Motley won the second game of a doubleheader from Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale 15-2 Tuesday.

Redemske was 3 for 3 with three runs, two doubles and two RBIs. Petrich was 3-3 with three runs, a double, triple, and four RBIs. White was 3-3 with a run scored.

Jalen Busker was 2-4 with a run and RBI, Kyle Quast was 2-3 with a run and RBI, Jordan Jenkins was 1-2 with two runs and an RBI, and Jordan Wick was 1-3 with a run and two RBIs.

Petrich went 2-4 as S-M lost Game One 7-4. Devon White was 2-3 with a double and RBI and Jenkins and Wick both doubled for S-M.
