Little Falls hammers Upsala

LITTLE FALLS — Gabe Ploof pitched a strong seven innings Wednesday, striking out seven, walking none and giving up three runs (one earned) to lead Little Falls to an 11-4 win over Upsala.

Little Falls pounded out 17 hits led by 3-5 performances from Collin Eckman, Luke Thoma and Matt Valentine, the latter with a double and three RBIs.

Tony Arnold finished 2-4 with a double and Joey Hanowski was also 2-4 with an RBI and sacrifice fly.
