Busker tosses no-hitter as Staples-Motley sweeps Park Rapids

PARK RAPIDS — Jalen Busker struck out ten and walked one on his way to a no-hitter, while helping his own cause by going 3-4 with three RBIs at the plate as Staples-Motley routed Park Rapids 11-1 in a five inning mercy rule game.

Austin Redemske added a 3-4 day of his own, notching a double and driving in four runs while scoring a run for the Cardinals.

Staples-Motley took the second game 11-2 off only four hits, but drew seven walks and were hit four times from Park Rapids pitchers.

Mark Kossan struck out three and walked one in five innings to notch a complete game win for the Cardinals.

Seth Auger, Jordan Wick, Kyle Jansson and Cody Drone managed the four hits, all singles, for Staples-Motley in the second game.
