Local Short: Timberwolves Camp coming to Wadena

For the first time in Wadena, a two-day shooting and ball handling clinic will be conducted by the Minnesota Timberwolves Basketball Academy July 16-17 at Wadena-Deer Creek Elementary School.

The clinic will give boys and girls in grades 3-12 the opportunity to learn new basketball skills and how to apply them in game situations. All skill levels accepted; players will be separated based on age and skill level. Camp coaches are Steve Brown, Director of the Timberwolves Basketball Academy, and staff. Area coaches are welcome.

The camp will run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days. A fee of $75 is required and registration forms are available at W-DC Elementary Office entrance or on the W-DC School’s website.
