SWIMMING AND DIVING: Warriors win eight events, sink Tech

ST. CLOUD — Fallon Ryan won the 100 and 200 freestyles and was a member of two winning relay teams for the Brainerd Warriors in their 108-78 victory over the St. Cloud Tech Tigers in a Central Lakes Conference opener Thursday night.

Reilly Peterson won the 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle and was also a member of a relay win.

Beth Etterman was the diving champion, Hannah McKeag won the 100 backstroke and Erica Rehnblom finished first in the 100 breaststroke.

The team of Ryan, Peterson, McKeag and Alyssa Williams won the 400 freestyle relay. Ryan, Rehnblom, Williams and Sydney Erickson won the 200 free relay.

“We swam pretty well and got good times in some events and we’re making progress,” Warriors coach Dan Anderson said.
